Description

Susceptibility-weighted imaging is a structural technique that is sensitive to magnetized tissue constituents (magnetic susceptibility). Data from one scan (including phase and magnitude images from two echo times) can be processed in multiple ways to reflect venous vasculature, microbleeds or aspects of microstructure (e.g., iron, calcium and myelin).
