About
The primary objective of this research is to examine the extent to which different levels of physical exercise and overall activity influence the risk of developing dementia. We aim to explore the correlation between various forms of physical activity (e.g., aerobic exercise, strength training, and daily activities like walking) and cognitive health outcomes in aging populations. The expected outcomes are to determine the optimal type and amount of physical activity necessary for reducing the risk of dementia, provide evidence-based recommendations for public health interventions aimed at promoting exercise to prevent cognitive decline, and identify key modifiable lifestyle factors that contribute to dementia prevention, enhancing strategies for healthy aging. This research will contribute to a better understanding of how physical exercise can be utilized as a preventive strategy against dementia, ultimately guiding public health policies and individual lifestyle choices towards reducing the global burden of dementia.
