About
Aims: This study aims to examine the complex factors and their in-between interactions and/or mediations contributing to suboptimal health conditions and disease. Scientific rationale: Health and disease develop and progress through a complex interplay of factors. Detailed designs are needed to capture these relationships. Both health behaviors and the environment are multidimensional concepts that influence and are influenced by health in a bidirectional manner. Many of the effects on health work in the short term, influencing outcomes in the short term, but sometimes also accumulating long-term effects. Outcomes are also different for people from different backgrounds at different stages (healthy or subhealthy) of disease detection and intervention. In summary, health and its determinants are complex phenomena that operate at both short- and long-term levels, are inherently bidirectional, vary from person to person, change depending on the nature of the disease, and may change over time. Project duration: 36month Public health impact: This study may provide an insight into overall greater and sustained health improvement by identifying variables that interact to influence health in a dynamic context. Provide insights for health policy makers and policy for broader and comprehensive health/sub-health management planning. Also, provide a detailed reference for physicians/family health planners for related diseases or populations.1 Publication
