Abstract
We took advantage of a novel approach to GWAS, whereby we studied parental history of Alzheimer's disease with genetics in the offspring (the UK Biobank participants). We integrated (meta-analysed) these results with the largest GWAS of Alzheimer's to date and identified 3 novel single-variant associations, and multiple novel gene-based associations. Some of these new findings are potential drug targets for other diseases and disorders.
