About
Over the course of the next 36 months, studies will be conducted to understand both cancerous and noncancerous urological conditions. This goal will be achieved through the use of medical, environmental, and genetic data from the UK Biobank, as genetics and the environment may contribute to the occurrence and progression of urological diseases. The urological conditions will be analyzed through understanding the impact of one gene, many genes, the interactions between genes, and the interaction between genes and the environment. Our goal is to use these findings to aid in early diagnosis and better treatment for urological conditions.
