About
With the intensification of global aging, age-related diseases have become an important issue affecting human health across the world. Based on all available information of UK biobank, our project aims to evaluate the comprehensive health effects of internal biological factors (age, biomarkers, immune and hormonal status, inflammation, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, etc.) and external environmental exposures (habits and customs, diet, ambient environments, micro-organism infections, etc) on the incidence, treatment response and prognosis of age-related diseases, including cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and infectious diseases, etc. Moreover, we will further construct prediction and screening models, using multiple robust statistical methods. The occurrence, therapeutic response and prognosis of age-related diseases are often associated with multiple intrinsic and extrinsic exposure factors. Disclosing the key factors will provide a scientific basis for promoting the formulation and implementation of health policies and research priorities for the prevention and treatment of diseases of age-related diseases. The credible prediction and screening model occurrence, therapeutic response and prognosis of age-related diseases are of great significance, especially for public health prevention and precise treatment. Our research projects on the prevention and prognosis of age-related diseases are continuous and continuously optimized. The project duration for this application is 36 months. We are looking forward to getting the approval of this study, hoping to contribute to the prevention and treatment of age-related diseases.1 Publication
