About
Aim:This project will investigate the potential association between atherosclerosis and aneurysms. In addition, we aim to determine the potential impact of risk factors such as lifestyle, environmental climate and pollutants where we live, diet, treatment, plasma metabolites, proteomics, and so on, on the transition from a healthy state to atherosclerosis and, subsequently, to aneurysm.
Scientific rationale!Environmental climate and pollutants affect hospital admissions for cardiovascular disease. Atherosclerosis is one of the causes of cardiovascular disease, so it is important to consider whether environmental climate and pollutants are causally related to atherosclerosis. In addition, the relationship between atherosclerosis and aneurysms still needs to be further elucidated.
